As AKOB, we are happy to have held the eighth of Turkey's only chamber music competition on May 25-26 with great interest, participation and excitement.
This year, there was a record participation with 6 groups in the "Young Turkish Composer" category and 18 groups in the "General Chamber Music Category", a total of 24 groups and 68 musicians.
“The results of our 8th National Chamber Music Competition, which we dedicated to the ‘Unforgettable Memory of Our Young Star Artist Laçin Akyol’, which is an expression of our continuous contribution and long-term effort in the field of chamber music in Mersin, were announced by the honorary member of the jury Demet Tarlakazan, the head of the jury Prof. Çiğdem İyicil, the members of the jury: Assoc. Prof. Cem, Dr. Turgay Erdener, Prof. Gülşen Tatu, Lecturer Mehmet Münif Akalın. The coordinator of our competition was AKOB Vice President Dear Bengü Yılmazer.
